Take Creative Control

Take Creative Control is a non-profit organization that advocates on behalf of and provides resources for creators of color. As a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Take Creative Control profiled select artists of color in an effort to heighten visibility and lobby for increased aid to this often overlooked community. Jade worked with Take Creative Control to edit and promote the 3-part video series and create a companion survey. By utilizing paid and organic media, while simultaneously activating on newer platforms such as Clubhouse, Take Creative Control raised awareness for the video series, grew their network, and collected valuable insights that were used in their lobbying and advocacy efforts.
